Dublin Bus to cut 10% of busses

The Minister for Transport Noel Dempsey has confirmed that public transport will be cut this year. It is expected that Dublin Bus will cut 120 buses from the fleet. That is 10% of buses!

That 10% cut in public transport comes at a time when the Green Party, a party that encourages alternatives to private cars, is in government. I guess that just goes to prove no matter who is in government Fianna Fail rules and everyone else just votes. If they cut my bus I'm driving to work and through John Gormeleys Ranelagh.

This percentage here to be cut will be of sense to its commuters. Usually when you think of busses you think of the bright yellow ones that you used to be forced to ride on the way to school but not anymore. Although busses are still primarily focused on bringing transportation to a large number of people at a time, they are now shifting their attention to building busses made for luxury and style. They are comfortable and fun to ride and drive.
