Voting Delay

So I went to vote before work this morning. Got out of bed, shower, shave, grabbed my passport and voting card then headed off to the polling station.

I was most of the way there when I heard an advert on the radio from the referendum commission asking people to come out and vote... on Thursday, i.e. tomorrow. Duh!

    I have the power to grant absolution from being a "Duh!"
    You will be absolved if you were so tired from a night of drugs, alchohol, sex and rock music that you thought it was Thursday 12th this morning.

    You will forever be branded a "Duh!" however if you suddenly thought that the voting day was changed from a Thursday to a Wednesday in an unprecedented change in tradition as for as long as we've been voting in elections or referenda, it has always been Thursday.

I allow people to comment anonymously, many blogs dont. If you want to express an opinion and throw insults my way but are afraid to back up your statements with an ID at least back up your opinions and insults with a logical argument.
